GOING FOR A WALK Sunset behind Iochdar School

One of the best things in life is free; going for a walk. However, for a place where the natural environment is so close to us, it is not always easy to just set out and end up going for a lovely walk. The land can be boggy, lochs get in the way, and the narrow roads can be hazardous. Here we have listed walks that have been suggested to us, contacts for walking initiatives and references to walk leaflets and other resources.

This page is under development. We plan to have a mixture of links, downloadable descriptions of walks, and news about footpaths and events.
