GOING FOR A WALK

News from Chris Ryan, paths to health co-ordinator

During April and May this year Chris came down to the Uists to deliver some transported walks, picking up and dropping off walkers in a minibus. This was a limited success, but Iwith more local input this aspect of the project could really take off. Chris is now looking for volunteers to train as walk leader volunteers. There will be a training day in the Uists in the autumn.

Chris is also hoping to run a program of walks in September and October in the Uists, publicity awaited.
